I had a bittersweet stay at Petit Hotel - Cafe Krieghoff. The location is fantastic, right on a lovely street with easy access to shops and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring Quebec City. However, the check-in process was frustrating, as I had to carry my bags through the restaurant and the staff's attitude was less than welcoming. Additionally, although the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom setup was inconvenient as it was located down the hall.

Rooms

The room was comfortable with basic amenities, though I found the need to access the bathroom outside my room a bit awkward. The lack of seating to enjoy meals in-room was also a downside.

The service was inconsistent during my stay. While the staff tried to accommodate requests, I often felt dismissed, especially during the breakfast experience when coffee refills took far too long.

While there was a café downstairs, the breakfast experience was disappointing, as I was only given a voucher for a limited amount rather than a full breakfast. It felt misleading compared to typical B&B offerings.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included basic amenities, and having a café downstairs was a plus. However, there were some maintenance issues, like the slow shower drainage. Also, the access code for the room was a bit cumbersome at times.

However, I faced significant issues with the service and facilities. The room was spacious but had a private bathroom located across the hall, which was inconvenient, especially at night.
